It is all about movie, film and cinema..!!

A new venture with an excellent idea and a group of passionate faculties, that’s what gives ‘Living Bridge’ a good leap in the race. With the perfect combination of innovation, sincerity and hard work it bounds to go a long way. It is a place where talent meets opportunity to imbibe and pursue one’s dreams of making career in film making.

Living Bridge is an education hub started by Aziz Rajabali and Ruta Talwalkar under the active guidance of Prof. Prashant Desai, a Film Television Institute of India (FTII) graduate of the 1982 batch. Since then, he has worked in the industry in various fields such as Cinematography, Screenplay writing as well as Production and Direction. He was faculty at the pioneer Xavier Institute of Communication, Mumbai and SNDT Mumbai, for their Post Graduation Courses in Mass Communication since its inception in 1996. Till recently, he was working at MIT institute of design. He has rich experience of producing and directing many corporate films.

‘Living Bridge’ was launched by film lovers and experts to encourage and promote media aspirants to live their dream of film making and develop an intellect towards its diverse skills. Be it film-direction or production, script-writing, editing, and cinematography –your passion – ‘Living Bridge’ is a right platform for understanding various aspects of films in depth, professionally but with personal instincts. It works towards providing every participant with complete knowledge about the field and an unmatched experience. A place where ideas flow seamlessly and help capture every bit of one’s imagination onto the screen. The mission at Living Bridge is to develop trendsetters who follow their heart.



The first workshop being conducted by Living Bridge is ‘Be a Film Maker’ starting from 7th of May. It’s a 36-day full time comprehensive workshop by Prof. Prashant Desai. It covers all aspects of cinema such as script-writing, cinematography, editing with prime focus on direction. Each participant will direct 3-min short film as well. All movie lovers should attend the free intro talk on 21st April, 29th April and 5th May.
