Dear Sirs,
Its surprising and sad to note inaction and indifferent
response of PMPML to recent Diesel Hike.
Its more obvious when compared with systematic
appropriate efforts/representations by ST.
The news in a leading Daily only mentions additional
burden PMPML has to bear.
And same ritualised 'hike in cost of spares,tyres etc.
This is being mentioned and considered as main head of expenses for fare hike
in 2008,2010,2012. PMPML has never disclosed any information how the additional
funds with fare hike have been utilised on the estimated expenses in fare hike
proposal.There is no transparency & Accountability.
1. No efforts/ representation to any Authority/State
Govt./Central Govt/ Oil Companies etc.
2. PMPML is known to load the burden of its inefficiency,
mismanagement, inaction to commuters by fare hike or anti-commuters/anti-PMPML
deals with contractors.
3.No improvement in efficiency/cost cutting/plug income
leakage etc.
4.The reaction by your official to media ,"why
citizen groups are silent" ,shows insolvency of capacity &
unwillingness to act in the interest of Commuters and Pmpml. Its on record that
citizen groups only have represented at different levels for support to P{MPML.
The management/officers are appointed and paid highly (6th Pay commission) for
effective discharge of duties.Its their primary duty, in which they have
utterly failed.
5. Now also PMP PRAVASI MANCH,SAJAG NAGRIK MANCH have
written to Central Govt & State Govt to roll back Diesel hike.
May we expect some concrete steps for EFFICIENT,CHEAP,SAFE
& RELIABLE PMPBus services.
