Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol, England
Bristol’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge
was initially designed in the early 19th century for light horse-drawn traffic,
but now more than 11,000 vehicles usually cross it every day. The bridge’s
gorgeous setting on the cliffs of the Avon Gorge, above the River Avon, is a
sight to behold too.
