National Society for Clean Cities, Pune
Pune a
Clean City - Clean in Every Which Way
Prabhag Samitis: There are fifteen (15) Prabhag
Samitis – one for each of the fifteen Administrative Wards. These have to
function as the Fourth level of governance (the first three being Lok Sabha,
Legislative Assembly and the Municipal Corporation). Each Prabhag Samiti
has to have three (3) representatives from NGOs who are not members of any
political party nor are employed by the government.
However,
as we all know, the three NGO representatives have always been selected from
members of political parties. This is wrong and NSCC will continue to fight for
the rightful selection of active, apolitical citizens to the Prabhag Samitis.
PMC
has issued a notice no.: 1/11 dated 13/04/2015 asking for nominations from NGO
members.
The last date for receipt of nominations is 2nd May 2015.
(Please note that the nomination forms will be issue by the Ward Office only
till 30th April 2015.)
NSCC
asks all Parisar Samitis/ Mohalla Committees/ Residents Associations to ensure
that they have at least
3
of their
members submitting their applications to the Asst. Municipal Commissioners
(Ward Officers) of their ward.
Please
meet your Ward Officer and talk to him on what all documentation is required.
And ensure that the nomination forms are properly filled and the documentation
attached. Do remember to mention that your Parisar Samiti/ Mohalla Committee is
a
Residents
Welfare Association
and is
affiliated
to National Society for Clean Cities, Pune (Regn. No.: 636/2008/Pune).
Also please
send a copy of your submitted Nomination form to Gautam Idnani (9822323917; gautam.nsccpune@gmail.com).
Wish
you all the best.
