UK's May quits as party leader, starting succession race

British Prime Minister Theresa May steps down as leader of her Conservative Party on Friday, formally triggering the race for a successor who will try where she failed to deliver Brexit.
May will remain prime minister until a new leader is chosen, likely in late July, but will make no further moves on Britain's tortuous departure from the European Union.

Oil just fell into a bear market

U.S. benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude oil entered a bear market Wednesday, and it doesn’t look set to exit it anytime soon.
“A combination of rising U.S. inventories, trade war concerns and economic fears are trumping the supply-side factors that encouraged us to reach a high of $66 in late April,” said Matt Smith, director of commodity research at ClipperData.
“Broader economic sentiment has turned south in the last month or so, and crude has been tagging along for the move lower in equities—further juiced by the U.S. inventory build,” he said.

Top Tourist Attractions: Dubrovnik, Croatia

There are few places that better capture the grand soul of maritime Old Europe than Dubrovnik. The city played King's Landing in Game of Thrones, and was formerly the capital of the Maritime Republic of Ragusa, rival to Italy's Venice and Amalfi. Dubrovnik's crown jewel is the lovely old town of Stari Grad, whose convents, palaces, and fountains were cut from the same lightly colored stone

Vacation’s over, school’s just about to start……. And while we get set for the new academic year with loads of excitement and anticipation, we don’t want to let go of the ultra-fun summer holidays.
Just as the vacation is about to end, we persuade mom to allow us that one last ‘friends over’.  Impressed by our marketing and persuasion skills, Mom agreesJ. Yipppppiieee!
Mom has to make phone calls to moms of 6 of our friends. As we overhear mom’s telecon with co-moms, we realise they all share the same sentiment…. finally school reopens next week and they get the much needed relief after two frenzy filled months. And yes, another topic that all moms can engage into an endless banter about is the fact that we don’t eat our veggies, keep inventing excuses to skip eating healthy nutritious food and look for every possible reason to lay our hands on some yummy and favourite food stuff – pizza (yumm), pastry (drooool), Chicken burger? (slurrrp)!! Man! This list can go on and on….
Let’s get things clear….Veggies are boring… it’s the absolute and established truth of this world…. Well at least in the world of kids! …. So give us a break please!!!

Nayakgiri: Summarizing Summer of 19 : Indian Victory

Summer of 69 is immortalized in history of this part of world. 50 years later can it be same for Indians
Summer is here finally in this part of the world. Gone are those chilly days, snow days, shivering, and indoor life. Now it’s the time to give up hibernation, explore outdoors and have fun under the sun. Sadly it is different back home. Furnace keeps burning outdoors compelling us to stay indoors. Thankfully there are Mangoes, Vacations and IPL. Last time I wrote on this forum, a day before IPL final. What a match though not quite good cricket played with dropped chances, bad batting. Brilliance of Bumrah, experience of Malinga and useful contributions by all finally ended juggernaut led by Dhoni and his experienced Brigade albeit by narrowest margin possible. But sure a treat for cricket fans and MI fan within me.
Fan in me also won when Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi was sworn on 30th for the second time. Lot has been said about this election: Polarization, EVMs, Secularism, Khan Market Gang, Battle of Bengal, South Indian identity politics, topsy-turvy results across three states lost by BJP, End of communist movement in India, Social Media wars, Unnecessary and wrongful intervention of opinions by International Media, meltdown of opposition, rise of stars like YSR Reddy, Stalin and sadly MIM.  For me three things really impacted on ground zero

Top Tourist Attractions: Busan Korea

We once dubbed Busan "South Korea’s answer to Barcelona"—and just one glimpse at the seaside city proves this point. Aside from miles of wide beaches and a killer food scene, Busan has views for days: Check out the hilltop, Crayola-colored neighborhood of Gamcheon for some of the best in town. On the temple front, you can't find much prettier (in the entire country, really) than Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, overlooking the sea on the northwest corner of Busan.
