Top Tourist Attractions: Shanghai China
Arguably China’s most exciting city, Shanghai's skyline is defined by shiny beacons like the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower. But he city's not all 21st-century glitz and luxury brand-name boutiques; there are plenty of opportunities to partake in more traditional pleasures, whether it's strolling the Bund or exploring the colonial architecture in the old French Concession.

Iran Shoots Down a U.S. Drone, Escalating Tensions
Iran shot down a United States surveillance drone early Thursday, both nations said, but they differed on the crucial issue of whether the aircraft had violated Iranian airspace, in the latest escalation in tensions that have raised fears of war between the two countries.
Iranian officials said that the drone was over Iran, which the American military denied — an important distinction in determining who was at fault — and each side accused the other of being the aggressor.
Top Tourist Attractions: Rome Italy
Rome captivates travelers in ways few cities can—chalk it up to world-class architecture, impossibly narrow cobblestone vicoli, and museums filled with artistic masterpieces. Call us sentimental, but we still stop dead in our tracks at the first glimpse of the Pantheon as we turn into the Piazza della Rotonda.

Quake shakes NW Japan, causes 21 injuries and minor damage
A powerful earthquake jolted northwestern Japan late Tuesday, causing minor injuries to 21 people and a brief evacuation of coastal homes until the risk of a tsunami passed.
Store floors were littered with goods that fell off shelves, and roofs of homes showed bare spots where tiles had shaken loose. But business was returning to normal Wednesday morning, with trains mostly running as usual and electricity restored to thousands of homes that lost power temporarily.
Top Tourist Attractions Rio De Janerio Brazil
Rio has some of the loveliest stretches of sand in the world, from Copacabana to Ipanema. Christ the Redeemer watches over the entire coastline, where a vibrant city seems to dance down to the sea and mellow as it floats off on a stand-up paddleboard.
Amita Nene's Yummy Expressions : Oreo Brownie with Ice Cream
Oreo Brownie with Ice cream
This
time around, I am super thrilled and pleased that I got to spend the entire
summer holidays with the kids; doing stuff for them and with them. Like many
other things in the last 10 months that I tried my hands at for the first time,
an entire 2 months’ vacation with the kids was a first timer too! And I must confess here, that irrespective of
the fun I had with them, the kids’ summer holidays have left me quite
exhausted!!!
Last
year same time, I was closing reviews and revisions and the works in my ‘all
equipped’ office space. Extended hours and long commute was the name of the
game. I was doing meetings and presentations and brainstorming sessions in the
sophisticated conference rooms while sipping on the Costa machine coffee and
munching on sandwiches. Sounds
stressful, right? Absolutely right! It was no doubt stressful given that all
the other chores and activities were then squeezed into the measly amount of
time that was left. Not to mention the twinge here and a prick there for not
being able to give time to the family….
I
have come to realise that managing two kids who are home the whole day for two
months at a stretch is a huge, enormous and humongous task. And I am in
complete awe of my mom who was managing the show for me in my absence….playing
mentor, ‘fill in’ mom, friend and a play date, so smoothly that one would never
realise there was real work involved..

Norway island of Sommaroy wants to be world's first time-free zone
Don't you wish those long summer days could last forever? An island in northern Norway is campaigning to do just that.
With the Northern Hemisphere's summer solstice just around the corner on June 21, Sommarøy -- meaning "Summer Island" -- wants to swap its watches for flower garlands and declare itself the world's first time-free zone.
On this island in West Tromsø, north of the Arctic Circle, the sun doesn't set from May 18 right through to July 26, a full 69 days.
Top Toursit Attractions New York
New York's beauty is multi-sensory: It's the historic architecture, from the Flatiron Building to One World Trade Center. It's the feel of grass beneath your feet (and the smell of roasted nuts) in Central Park. It's the art of the Met, MoMa, and Frick. But most of all, it's the sight of beautiful, diverse people walking the city streets with heads held high

One tycoon, who considers himself potentially politically exposed, has started shifting more than $100 million from a local Citibank account to a Citibank account in Singapore, according to an adviser involved in the transactions.
Top Tourist Attractions: Charleston, South Carolina
With its meticulously kept gardens, vibrantly painted Georgian houses along Rainbow Row (you get a gorgeous mansion! and you get a gorgeous mansion!), and carriages clacking across cobblestone streets, Charleston remains one of America's most picturesque cities. No wonder it's topped our list of best small cities in the U.S. for eight years running.
