Albania
is a young country, having won its independence from the Ottoman Empire just
over a century ago. It's most famous for being the birthplace of Mother Teresa
and for its more than 3,250 species of plants, accounting for 30 percent or all
of Europe's flora. Pictured here are vegetable fields with poppy in
