Millau Viaduct, Aveyron, France
Located in southern France, the Millau Viaduct, or Viaduc de
Millau, broke plenty of records when it opened in 2004, with the highest pylons
in the world and the highest road bridge deck in Europe. Impressively, the mighty
structure also weighs five times as much as the Eiffel Tower and is longer than
the Champs-Elysées.
