Széchenyi Chain Bridge, Budapest, Hungary
Budapest’s most famous bridge, the Széchenyi Chain Bridge links Buda and Pest, the western and eastern sides of the city, across the River Danube. Its hulking towers usually draw tourists in their droves, but it's not just one of the city's most photogenic sights – it's also a symbol of unity between Budapest's two halves.
