1934: Nazi Party Rally Grounds

The infamous Nuremberg Rallies took place on the Nazi Party Rally Grounds, an 11-square-kilometer, amphitheater-style property designed by chief Nazi architect Albert Speer. Today, the grounds have been converted into a visitor center where tourists can view the space and learn more about life under Nazi rule.
