Michael Connelly is perhaps best known for his character Harry Bosch. “The
Black Echo,” which was Connelly’s debut novel, introduces the Los Angeles
police department homicide detective as he attempts to solve the murder of a
fellow Vietnam veteran. The novel, which won an Edgar Award, is also the
inspiration for the third season of the Amazon series “Bosch.”
