After
the head of the FBI seizes a large sum of money from a drug cartel in the
opening pages of “Clear and Present Danger,” the criminal group responds by
assassinating him. Jack Ryan, a senior official in the CIA, is tasked with
finding an appropriate response, but soon begins to suspect duplicity from some
of his own men. Ryan must act quickly to ensure justice is upheld before any
more lives are lost.
