Padma River, Bangladesh
This rowing boat appears to be floating in the clouds, tinged with
the soft pink light of sunrise. It was actually taken on the Padma River in
Rajbari, showcasing how Bangladesh’s many rivers criss-cross the land, dotted
with islands or “char”. It earned Australia-based photographer Mohammad Rahman
a special mention in the Landscapes and Earth Elements Portfolio category.
