A spiky creature
A photographer took this amazing close-up of
a crown-of-thorns starfish at Gardner Pinnacles in Papahānaumokuākea Marine
National Monument. It's named as such because of all the spines along its body,
and it feeds on coral by inverting its entire stomach.
