Landscapes and Earth Elements Portfolio category with these otherworldly images
of Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre in South Australia. The country’s largest salt lake is
only covered with floodwaters around once every eight years, so the landscape
is usually dominated by salt plains and bore springs. Portelli perfectly
captured the intricate patterns and earthy palette of yellows and reds.
