Athens

Athens is famous for its rich history, dating
all the way back to 1600 B.C. It is the oldest European capital city and is the
largest and oldest city in all of Greece. A recorded history encompassing 3,400
years is impressive enough, but the discovery of the Cave of Schist indicates
human presence in the area beginning between 11th and 7th millennia B.C.
