Designated as
the main Spanish national art museum, the Prado Museum is located in the
capital city of Spain, central Madrid. It is widely considered to have one of
the world’s finest, richest and most comprehensive collections of European art,
dating from the 12th century to the early 19th century. Also, it features some
of the best collections of European art such as the Majas of Goya (La Maja
Vestida and La Maja Desnuda) and Las Meninas by Velazquez. Also, The Museo del
Prado is one of three museums in Madrid that make up the Golden Triangle of
Art.
