Nyhavn, Copenhagen,
Denmark
One of Copenhagen's prettiest spots, Nyhavn
is a 17th-century waterfront, with colorful 17th- and 18th-century townhouses
rising either side of the boats and yachts docked in the canal. Tourists and
locals alike usually sit down for a leisurely drink at one of the many cafés
spilling out onto the streets on both sides of the canal. Christmastime
boasts a magical Christmas light display.
