Philosopher's Path, Kyoto, Japan
The Philosopher's Path (Tetsugaku no michi in Japanese) is a narrow
stone path following the flow of a canal in Kyoto's historic Higashiyama
district. While most of the year it's just a pleasant walk, the
surrounding trees are bursting with color during cherry-blossom season in
spring, making it one of the city's top spots for hanami (cherry blossom
viewing).
