Cape Lookout National Seashore on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina has just been designated a new International
Dark Sky Park! It's part of one of the only remaining natural barrier island
chains in the world, and is only accessible by boat. Astronomy programs are
held at the park throughout the year for visitors, and while Crystal Coast
Stargazers offers stargazing cruises to the scenic Cape Lookout Lighthouse.
