It's easy to see why so many travelers are devotedVancouver loyalists. Once described as "the little village on the edge of the rainforest," the now-cosmopolitan city (Canada's third largest) is surrounded by incredible natural beauty—snow-capped mountains on one side, and the Pacific Ocean on the other. You don't even have to travel far to get your dose of nature: Downtown Stanley Park has more than 1,000 acres of waterfront and woodlands.
