Fiskargränd, Visby, Sweden
Nestled on the Swedish island of Gotland, the
remote Viking town of Visby is the island's largest settlement. The walled town
is a center for art, theater and classical music and is known for its own
speciality cuisine that makes prominent use of saffron. One of the most
charming parts of town is Fiskargränd (Fisherman's Alley), a narrow,
cobbled lane in the north.
