Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem
Believed to be the route Jesus walked on the way to his
crucifixion, Via Dolorosa isn't only a tourist attraction, it's a significant
pilgrimage for many Christians who travel to Jerusalem to walk the Way of
Sorrows, as it's otherwise known. The route covers about 2,000 feet (600m)
and stretches from Antonia Fortress to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
