The Hermitage is an art and
culture museum located in the majestic city of Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Designated as the second-largest art museum in the world, it was founded in the
year 1764 by Catherine the Great, when Empress Catherine acquired an impressive
collection of paintings from the Berlin merchant Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky. Also,
