Bengali actor Soumitra Chatterjee recently honored with prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke award. 77 years old Soumitra expressed his gratitude to directors like Satyajit Ray, Tapan Sinha and many more Bengali filmmakers to groom his acting skill. Soumitra Chatterjee got the award after spending 53 years in the field.
While interviewing one of the TV channel he expressed "It is an emotional moment for me. I am very happy. It is recognition of the hard work I have put in for the last 53 years. The people of my country have recognized my toil."
He thanked all those to help him polishing his acting skill, "I would like to thank many old people of this industry like Satyajit Ray and Tapanda," he said.
Chatterjee made his debut in 1959 with Ray’s super-hit movie Apur Sansar. The film gave him the much needed platform, and he never had to look back. He soon became Ray’s favorite, and played the lead roles in most of the movie maker’s classics including Sonar Kella, Charulata, and Ghare Baire.
Some of his famous movies are ‘Jhinder Bandi’, ‘Koni’, ‘Kaapurush’, ‘Akash Kusum’, ‘Aranyer Din Ratri’, ‘Joy Baba Felunath’, ‘Teen Bhubaner Pare’, ‘Ganashatru’ and ‘Sakah Prashakha’.
Besides films, Chatterjee is also known for his passion for the stage where he has both acted and directed plays. He is also one of the all-time best elocutionists of Bengal. He has also received ‘The Officier des Arts et Metiers’, the highest award for arts from France, and a lifetime achievement award from Italy.

Musical and steamy Jannat 2
Jannat 2 is Emraan Hashmi’s other movies with melodies and steamy scenes. Jannat 2 will strike a chord with music lovers too. Forget about the content for success of the movie, this movie will replicate the success of its prequel Jannat released in 2008 on the basis of its music. The movie Jannat 2 will be out on 4th May this year with Emraan, Randeep Hooda, Imran Zahid and Esha Gupta in prominent roles. Jannat 2 will be steamy as well; kissing scene between Emrran hashmi and newcomer Esha Gupta apart from that suspense thriller plot will entertain those strata of viewers.

The film from the house of the prestigious Dharma Production will provide opportunity to see the ‘Jodi’ after high profile break up.
This will be first major film to be shot in Manali after Akshay Kumar – Aishwarya Rai’s Action Replay, this is also generated much excitement amongst the tourists and locals, who have been waiting endlessly to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars, but to no avail.
Rumours floating around suggest that Deepika and Ranbir, who had broken up many years ago might patch up! After breaking up with Ranbir Kapoor a few years ago, Deepika Padukone was very upset and even took a dig at Ranbir several times. In fact, in the show Koffee with Karan, Deepika along with Sonam Kapoor picked on Ranbir and made quite a few nasty comments.
Deepika and Ranbir were seen cosying up at Rohit Dhawan's wedding party. They were reportedly engrossed in a serious conversation and were stuck to each other throughout the party.

Item number is becoming a success formula for actresses but slim and trim Sonam Kapoor is not in mind to do any item number. She feels that she has no body to do and item number. She admits that she is slim and healthy but don’t have grace and style which is required for item number. So fans of Sonam have to wait for little time to see little young Sonam in item number.
Sonam’s dancing ability was seen in Saawariya, Delhi-6 and Aisha. But she doesn't have any hit dance number to her credit so far. However, she loves Bollywood's "Munni" Malaika Arora Khan she said "She is the Helen of our generation. If anybody can do an item number, then it is Malaika. She is superb. Nobody can beat her. She is fantastic.”
